    Most recently, Julia served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Red Bison Technology Group, a growth-stage start-up venture focused on creating a sustainable and competitive advantage for commercial real estate owners and operators with property technology innovations, cost leadership, and data analytics to increase asset values and lease renewals for properties at all lifecycle stages. At Red Bison, Julia was responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic marketing programs and new market categories that create demand and brand awareness, along with increased revenues and market share for the company.

    Before Red Bison, Julia spent several years as part of the executive leadership team at two other growth-stage start-ups focused on open platform networks and property technology for the commercial real estate sector, including CMO for BeyondEdge, a software-defined edge compute company focused on advancing networks via open and modular software platforms with zero-trust access that deliver highly automated in-building networks. She was also SVP of Marketing for CrossLayer, a managed network services company with a software-driven, edge computing platform designed to meet the market needs of commercial real estate owners and developers.

    During her career, Julia has held several executive and senior management positions in business development, sales, marketing, public relations, and talent acquisition with Nexius, Fujitsu, Sprint, and Texas Instruments. Julia graduated from the UT Dallas Executive MBA program and received a B.S. (magna cum laude) in Public Relations from Illinois State University. She is actively involved in both local and national community and philanthropic programs tied to neurodiversity and autism.
    She is a member of the Board of Directors for Music Movement, a nonprofit organization that develops programs to support children and young adults with autism.

    Máire Sogabe is a Cybersecurity Consultant with extensive experience securing IT & OT environments and advancing information security and risk management programs. Prior to her current role at Eolas Cyber Solutions LLC, she worked at Generate where she led Security & Compliance and built a robust security program that proactively manages risk, ensures compliance, and adapts to evolving threats.

    Before joining Generate, Máire served as a Cyber Security Consultant at Engie, focusing on aligning the IT digital security program to the NIST CyberSecurity Framework to ensure the security and resilience of IT and OT assets across North America. Prior to Engie, she worked at Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) where she managed strategic initiatives to protect PG&E’s critical infrastructure, information assets, and business operations for the Chief Security Officer. During her time at PG&E, she also implemented complex technology solutions for the electric, gas, and nuclear business, facilitating digital transformation, and enabling next-generation energy management and the Grid of Things. Máire managed one of the largest, most complex Utility GIS implementations in North America.

    She is a two-time energy hackathon winner. She was recognised as one of the “Silicon Valley 50” by the Irish Technology Leadership group for her leadership in technology.

    Máire is an “In Residence Thought Leader” for the Munster Technology University M.Sc. in FinTech Innovation program in Ireland. She holds a M.A. in Community Development from the NUI Galway, and a M.Sc. in Information Systems from Golden Gate University, in San Francisco, California.

    Máire is passionate about mission-driven innovation, emerging tech, and startups. She is keenly interested in AI, IoT, smart cities, autonomous vehicles, and green tech. She is committed to addressing climate change, and creating a secure, resilient and sustainable future.

    Mr. Lutz leads the Cyber Operations group at RMC and is a recognized expert in Industrial Control Systems and Operational Technology cybersecurity. Under his leadership, the group has grown significantly to support all aspects of cyber risk management and mitigation, risk/vulnerability assessments (red and blue teams), R&D of vulnerabilities and mitigations, Computer Network Defense (CND), Assessment & Authorization (A&A) cybersecurity, network and security operations center management, and Incident Response.

    James has over 25 years of experience in risk management, system validation, cybersecurity assessments, penetration testing, secure software development, CND, A&A, information assurance (IA) and information technology.     Prior to RMC, James served in cybersecurity and IA roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, SAIC, and SRA International.

    James has achieved and maintains CISSP, PMP, GISCP, GRID, CSSLP, CEH, and Security + certifications. He holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

    Eric Byres is widely recognized as one of the world’s top experts in the field of SCADA security. As the inventor of the Tofino Security technology, Eric and his partner Joann guided the product through its evolution from academic research project and startup to successful acquisition by Belden Inc (NYSE: BDC). Tofino received numerous industry awards and was licensed by industry giants such as Honeywell, Schneider Electric and Caterpillar. Today it is probably the most widely deployed ICS-specific firewall in the world.

    Eric is also known for his leadership in international standards and research for ICS/SCADA security. As the founder of the BCIT Critical Infrastructure Security Centre, he shaped it into one of North America’s leading academic facilities in ICS security, culminating in a SANS Institute Security Leadership Award in 2006. At the same time, he provided guidance to government security agencies, and major energy companies on protection for critical infrastructures. He was the chair of the ISA SP-99 Security Technologies Working Group, and the Canadian representative for the IEC TC65/WG10 standards effort.

    Some of Eric’s achievements include testifying to the US Congress on the “Security of Industrial Control Systems in National Critical Infrastructures” as well as receiving awards from international organizations. These include the IEEE Outstanding Industry Applications Article Prize in 2000, the 2004 “Donald P. Eckman Award” and the 2005 “Keith Otto Award” presented by the International Society of Automation (ISA). Eric was made an ISA Fellow in 2009 and given ISA’s highest honor, “Excellence in Leadership”, in 2013. Eric was also the inventor of the Achilles Test Platform (now owned by GE) and was the founder of Byres Research Inc. and Artemis Systems Engineering. Today Eric provides technology and market guidance to companies entering the ICS market, as well as policy guidance for companies involved in the operation of critical infrastructures.
