Revolutionizing Asset Management: Harnessing Asset Master Data, IIoT, and AI for Strategic Decision-Making
Sponsored by Prometheus Group

This panel explores the critical role of accurate, comprehensive asset master data in bridging the gap between the promise and reality of IIoT and Industry 4.0. We introduce the concept of Master Data as a Service (MDaaS) as a solution to establish a solid foundation for advanced automation systems. By leveraging techniques such as data mining, engineering drawing analysis, and ISO 14224-based taxonomies, MDaaS can help organizations clean, align, and maintain their asset data. The panel will discuss how this approach, combined with the "Prometheus Methodology" of "Get it Clean, and Keep it Clean," can enable organizations to fully harness the power of IIoT and AI for strategic decision-making in asset management.
